Here philosophers

Stood on their raised mounds

Nestled within the bustling streets

to beguile the crowds in ancients of old.

Yet modern day philosophers

Take to the stand differently so now.

For they take many forms

Truths Wrapped in songs

Truths Encased in books

Truths Wrapped in poems

No longer are the bellowed.

All evoke free thinking,

All can evoke the awakening of the spirit within us

And all can evoke awareness of the self and others so to.
