I woke up this morning to high winds and rain. No sign of snow, and it was Christmas again.
“It’s Christmas kitty,” but I don’t think it mattered So I picked up the tinsel , and the bauble that shattered. I miss you so much, every day of each year.
But on christmas day , I am needing you here.
I am alone, no solace to be found .
The silence is deafening, such a sacred sound.
The day wears on, and my smile wears thin
The ticking of the clock gets louder within.
Happy christmas, Happy christmas, can anyone hear ? And there at my feet fell an Angel’s tear.
